Terms of Service

Our service

Chikuni provides private journey design, recommendations and itinerary-related advisory services. Chikuni is operated by The Bears Japan K.K.

Third-party bookings

Accommodation, transportation, dining, activities and other third-party services are booked and paid for directly by the traveller or their appointed professional adviser. Chikuni does not receive payment on behalf of hotels, transport providers, restaurants or other recommended third-party suppliers.

Recommendations

Our recommendations reflect our judgment based on the information available when your journey is designed. Availability, pricing, opening hours, operating conditions and supplier policies may change. Final booking choices remain with the traveller or their appointed professional adviser.

Third-party services

Hotels, transport operators, restaurants, guides, venues and other suppliers provide their services under their own terms and are responsible for their own operations. Chikuni is not the provider of those third-party services.

Journey changes and support

Where included in an agreed Chikuni service, we provide reasonable itinerary-related guidance when circumstances change. This is not a 24-hour emergency, medical or security service.

Paid journey design

Before paid work begins, Chikuni will confirm the scope and applicable design fee. Any specific commercial terms agreed with you for that engagement will form part of our arrangement.
